I think Agile practices apply to management in general just as well as project management.

The biggest thing that causes Gen-Y grief (on both sides of the battle) is the &quot;there is only ONE set of rules!&quot; idea.  Millennials will seek out hypocritical behavior like a military-trained hamster seeks out landmines.  But, millennials also tend to hold non-traditional hours which can cause all sorts of ruckus.

All of your points are spot-on.

Creative types especially love the esoteric solutions which, more often than not, are squashed by more logical left-brainers. I do, however, insist on placing 
&quot;const int probabilityProgramWillEvolveIntoSkynet = 0;&quot; and &quot;const bool humansAreFriends = true;&quot; into every program I write.  

Assigned but never used... yet.
